The "I am" thread (931)

I am back, along with Chuckles, from the frozen tundra where we were involved in some intense training chasing lemmings around.
I am hoping everyone is well, and that laffingone is over her cold! (Have a great holiday H!)
I am going to have to head back out on to the tundra, for although I told him not too, Chuckles took his teddy bear with him, and somehow managed to lose him in the wastelands.
I am also hoping that this post is not the one that "kills" this thread, and truly would like to see an "I am Thread 2" just so I can continue to prove that my iron will is resolute and that I cannot ever be caught again.
I am definitely grinning seeing that pops has to cough up a quarter to LG!
I am noticing that there is another thread in here that reminds me why I do not frequent the International forums that much,....maybe we need a "backroom" or an "outside" forum where people can hash things out!
I am this year now on a fire roster in a far greater capacity than I had wanted to be so training must begin in earnest - and trying to get Chuckles favourite squeaky toy away from him is great exercise! (Huh,..no, Chuckles,...put your squaeky away,....I am typing right now,...and is that a tear I see? No worries, we'll go out and lok for "Teddy" right after I am done here!)
I am congartulating the Alberta Women's Curling team for winning the Canadian champioship over BC (sorry LG and laffingone! Great game though! )
I am into St. Albert for awhile this weekend to attend the Canadian Special Winter Olympics and cheer on some amazing athletes!
I am also wishing that this little "cold snap" (that just rolled in but is supposed to drift away soon) and snow in Edmonton hadn't have happened for I am into the city tonight with my sister and three nieces, all down from Ft. MacMurray, to go see Jan Arden in concert tonight.
I am wishing everyone well,...okay Chuckles,...let's go see if we can find Teddy!

I am suggesting that if you ever get the opportunity to see Jan Arden live, she is well worth the ticket price - an amazingly talented, witty and funny woman with some great music!

I am also happy(and very relieved) to report that "Teddy", Chuckles stuffed teddy bear, was FOUND and recovered out on the wastelands. He has not stopped hugging him since!
