Curios to see what people feel and think about tattoos..

Read blog where the originator stated that when they see a person with a tattoo it screams "idiot" to them..

Is this how the general population feels or just a certain amount of people jumping on the band wagon for the fun of it.

Have always felt people get them for a reason, wether to honour a memory of a deceased loved one or for a significant change in their life..

What is your honest opinion??

I do not have any, but have absolutely nothing against them. I think they can look quite good. The only time I sort of look at them strangely is when they become complete body works,....but even then,....to each their own.

Thats what I think to each their own..have some needle work but mine are not cover the body...I do get the odd question as they are not the usual but can be hidden easily..people tend to forget body art has been around for a long long time and has a purpose..

Very few tattoos I've seen that I've liked, but there have been the odd exceptions that are beautiful works of art.

I honestly used to think that I'd never get one, but actually have been contemplating getting one for about 4-5 years now. I went into a tattoo shop this summer, but alas was pretty much ignored and told to go through a book to get a design. I ended up walking out disappointed and resigned to the fact that it wasn't meant to be for that day as another place was closed. Otherwise I'd probably be sporting one as I type this now.

I know what I want, but am just not talented to translate it from my thoughts onto paper into a specific design. One of these days, I'll have to muster my courage up again and go for it, but for now, its on the back burner.

The reasoning for my tattoo is specific to me, and its not for anyone else but myself.

I here that LG and good luck..some use them as peronal expression and other to pay honour and respect to a special memory..hopefully you will find a true artist who will take the time to put it on paper and then to skin..

Tattoos have become quite acceptable in today's society and if tastefully done they can look very appealing. I have contenplated to have a tattoo done but so far have not.canada wave

They are very appealing when done right...as for contemplating its a decision that needs serious thinking as they are cheaper to get done than to remove..as in mine they should have a meaning for the wearer..good luck and enjoy..applause applause

The closest I came to get "ink" was long ago back in the military (very common ritual),...

Lately though, I really am contemplating getting the words "I AM" as a tattoo,....hell, with just the money I would save on quarters I could probably get a real nice one done, and have enough left over to have it removed once that "evil" thread ends!rolling on the floor laughing
