When I see and hear about all the troubles other countries are having, I thank God I live in Canada. We have our problems here, but I would want to live nowhere else. And to be honest, I would be at my wits end if I had to move to any other country. I am in need of nothing that is essential for my life, and believe me when I say: I am not a rich man yet I have more than the people of many countries. God has indeed blessed Canada.
We should be very grateful and help each other.

I am onside with your sentiments totally. But what I had asked is if you HAD to go somewhere else, where would you go.

I would relocate to Australia.

I would take my chances with the floods over a nasty blizzard with -40 anytime. If I never saw another flake of snow again; I would die a happy woman. Also, I don't get sun burned so bring on the sunshine.

Well not having visited many places in the world it would be difficult for me to give an exact answer BUT I've heard that New Zealand is a wonderful place to live and from what I've seen on t.v. its so beautiful.

Well no doubt Canada is the best ...if I had to relocate I think Norway would be a nice place to be..
Well Single4Ever, I still can't say " I envy you " but with the tan you have, you do have a reason on your side. But I do not mind the snow for in my neck of the woods, not as it use to be in NS, we don't get the blizzards as when I was much younger. So, I am rather content here. But I always was a wanderer in my youth and I think, I think I would like to visit the area between the south of Spain and Turkey.
Some of you gezzers may remember this little bit of nothing: Austria was Hungry, ate a piece of Turkey fried in Greece, along came Italy and kicked poor Sicily into the Mediterranean Sea.
On second thought, maybe I'll just think about that idea again. No love lost there, no love to lose.

Canada is the best country in the world - no argument. Living in the Netherlands where I am now, specifically in The Hague is a wonderful second. Great for relocation.....now if I can only get the language thing under my belt...would be perfect. Dag en Alles Goed!

I, myself, have often thought of such places as New Zealand, Australia, England, Norway, sopmewhere out in the South Pacific,....but then again, I do have some friends just south of the border,.....

I concur that Scotland is beautiful. I was in Scotland back in the 80s and just loved the scenery as well as the people.

I guess I am lucky to be able to tan without trying as I just spend lots of time cycling or working in the yard. I do enjoy the warmth of the sun though. Its a balmy -27 here right now so lots of miserable Calgarians right now. LOL
I lived in Dartmouth and I can only recall one big blizzard in the three years I lived there. I sure miss the ocean though and of course all that nice fresh yummy lobsters. Now, I am getting depressed thinking about that. Damn you Sprnglark; you have ruined my day. Nah, only kidding.
