Positive thoughts and prayers for our own KDH (18)
eyesthatknowwhy: Just wanted to let you all know, who may know KDH and myself ( old timers we are) ... K is having surgery tomorrow to remove some concerning cancer cells ... I will leave it at that
We have become friends in real life and I am asking all of you to pray or do whatever it is you do ... we need her well and healthy, her man and kids do. So for the others who are out there somewhere, Brew and kid and curly ... let us all send the most positive thoughts and vibe to this little Irish bombshell Hugs Kim ... you will get well and be up here to see us this spring in the Yukon

Just an update - She is home ... very weak and pretty well incapacitated for now, but all went well. So far so good. The pain is manageable she says ... I will let her know all the positive thoughts and wishes being sent her way

I will find out more about my cancer on Tuesday. So far all I do is physio to strengthen, stretch and strengthen muscles in my left arm and shoulder, eat and sleep. Pain is not as bad. Dealing with limitations and relying on others drives me crazy. There are so many things on the "Not allowed to do" list.
Geo and Eyes have been updated since I found out about the cancer.
All I want for Christmas is to be cancer free. Two yrs ago, we were preparing for my mother's last, I'm hoping this Christmas will be a first.

I have discovered why people who have no hair have to wear toques... Its fleeping cold not having any hair.
Kiddy01: I just saw this and is sorry that you are going through this. I finished my chemo and radiation about 7months ago, and so far I am doing fine. We live in the same city so if you ever need to talk I am always here.

Angels watch over you lovely lady! I wish you a speedy recovery. Its funny how this has become something you live with or get over these days and soooo many peeps have had brushes with it.
I had two random ladies in the store the other day and they just started chatting about their bouts of breast cancer like it was the weather...Brave ladies both of them and it made me realize how wide spread it is, and how many many lives it touches. Cheers to you Darlin!
