I wish someone would plan something in CANADA (87)
I like this idea too!
A few years ago, Edmonton (Alberta) was infamous for not only planning, but actually pulling off some get-togethers! Just say when and where,....post it,...and see what happens! I didn't hear a call to pile into Ontario,...so,....once again,...must it be lberta?

Took me some time but I finally have read through this entire thread.
Seems as though we Canadians need to think about something for a while before we make a decision about things. Perhaps we should ask, "If we were to have a meet would you come and where would be the best place to have one?" Perhaps if all of us get involved in planning a greet then we just might get one going. A greet could be less than ten people but much more fun if it were more. JMO Ken!!

Isn't that the truth! Back around 2007 or so, Edmonton pulled off a couple of amazing greets - people came from many many miles away. So, later this summer I am game (and I bet I could convonce another CS member,...or two...or three...or four....)
So,....I am game for sometime this summer...somewhere....lol

LOL! Are you inferring that we all drift over to the Emerald Isle and swagger over to this pub for a meet and greet? How does this meet the "in Cnada" criteria? How does this allow we Canadiands to forever prove to the Scots we can out curl them (and do they even know what hockey is?

Much and all as I would love you all to visit my wonderful country (we're even calling The Gathering this year to try and rope people in), I feel the Canadian side of CS is in such disarray that I am willing to travel over to sort you all out!!!
As for the Scots....don't worry about them.....curling really is a bit of an embarrassment

It is no more than a 6 hr. plane ride from one end of the country to the other. Manitoba is right in the middle but it could possibly still have snow on the ground in June. lol
