Nah, they've simply embarrassed themselves, not an entire nation. I don't feel any shame whatsoever because of either of them, nor do I see any reason why I should.
I actually feel somewhat bad for Ford, I just wish he would have told the truth right from the start, but I guess he is a politician.

i see no reason to personalize the behavior of either of them.
Canada is a big place with lots of folks...and most folks realize this...

Justin Bieber is a spoiled child! He thinks because he is a famous singer he can do whatever he pleases... his innocent cutesy look he gives the camera is sickening...his excuse I am only 19 ... well a lot of others grow up even before they were 19... that is such a lame excuse and he is full of excuses ..Justin you are a spoiled child and you need a good whacking... you need to grow up!!!! I do not support him nor do i listen to his music... he is a very poor role model in life even if he helps out with humanitarian things.... you can't be good one min and bad the next and think that is how life goes.... he is spoil and has no clue about life nor will he ever succeed in life....Justin is no role model for anyone!
Rob Ford - OMG seriously he should of resigned or take a leave of absence to rehab and he would be in better position in the public eye .. Rob Ford's problem he is hanging around the wrong crowd .... he is a public figure and has no manners nor professionalism... and his brother who I thought has some brains is just as bad....
but again Rob Ford wants to be cool and he is anything but that...
again he hangs around the wrong people and guess what no matter what he does he will always be caught ... yawn Rob Fords story is getting dry and old....

What was wrong with P.E.T.?
At least he cared about the entire nation, not just a select few in his constituency, or those that would line his pockets. Name one other PM that has been better, and why.
Trudeau cared about his own view of the nation and I did not agree with his views at that time and still don't today, do your own research and draw your own personal conclusion...Harper may not have a great political personality and he may not be a pretty boy but he gets the job done economically.

I have done a lot of reading about P.E.T., and of many of the other PMs we've had over the last 50 years. I still think he's by far the best PM we've ever had, seeing as he at least had a view for the entire nation, not just the select few.
The Conservatives have always been out for themselves, their cronies, and really don't care about the rest. Mulroney was a perfect example, as in "free trade", and his dealings with Schreiber. Not someone you can say was honest, or had the good of the entire nation in mind.
If your idea of Harper getting the job done means he's just barely good enough, I'd still have to disagree. Other than the Con's repealing the long gun registry, what have they done of any merit?
As far as I'm concerned, Harper is just a lost Bush clone that people have forgotten to throw into the garbage bin. He also reminds me of what some called Nixon; 'a popsie-doll'...frozen flavoured water pop cycle on a stick. Nothing of any value/ empty; useless.

If you're thinking of Margot Kidder, they only dated after he was divorced, from another Margaret, Sinclair. Both suffered from bipolar disorder, same first name, and had other similarities.
