Hi..I wondered how others spend birthday's alone?
What do you do to make the day go faster blues
I am curious as I have been alone many years now, have lots of friends around me, I just prefer to spend the time alone..sad flower

I am curious as I have been alone many years now, have lots of friends around me, I just prefer to spend the time alone..


I have spent the last four alone, just another day really. I do
enjoy talking to my Mum on that day. In reality, it is just
another 365 days you did not dielaugh One thing I do not do
on that day is drink alone, or any other day for that matter.
I know how some, and by the sounds of it you feel, and a companion/
partner/ Spouse would be nice to snuggle/spoon with.sad flower

Its just another day to me too(I tell myself).
Yes I do miss those moments I suppose,probably companion is a good summary for me, spouse? noo..never wanted one. lol

Happy bday Lillie, hope it's your best one ever. As we get older the years between bdays seem to get shorter and shorter don't they. Sometimes the solitude of being alone is a good thing but having a friendship with someone has it's good as well. Enjoy your day, make it special. cake wave

Belated happy birthday wishes Lillie! gift

I do like some "me" time, but there are occasions I like to spend time with good people. It might take a bit effort to keep in contact with friends or make at least some new acquaintances, but for me it's worth it. Having a BBQ or something and a few people over can be fun. conversing

I spend it with friends or family. I don't think I was ever alone on my birthday....if I was I think I spent it watching tv and eating take out!
