It's an interesting question Twingles but I don't think there's an answer that everyone will agree with. You like each other enough to spend time together whether you call it a date or not. You spend enough time together and are attracted to each other to boink a couple of times. Maybe a discussion about what the hell you're doing may be in order? Do you wanna do it again? Would it bother you to hear about other dates he's been on? Or do you think it might bother him if you went out with other guys too?
As far as rules are concerned, wrong. There are no rules but there should be respect for each other as well as yourselves.

For me it has to happen in my heart and that could take a while..Being intimate will happen after it happens on my heart..might not be the new rules but rules haven't changed with the times for me
Good question. I think dating is open and really doesn't actually count until the topic is discussed between partners. It may seem a little high schoolish but until it is said that your in a committed relationship, "going steady" or "going out", it generally means that the relationship is still open. At least thats what I believe. Not everyone feels the same way about openly dating or seeing other people, so ask him or her what they think and go from there. We go on a few dates or spend lots of time together and then become
intimate. So what is the defining factor?
Have heard some say it is a verbal agreement others just take it for granted that if you have been intimate with that person on more than one occasion then you are dating.
So what is your point of view on this subject. The rules today are alot different than they were a few years ago.
