My favorite genres are historical fiction (loved the Kent Family Chronicles by John Jakes), and true crime such as Ann Rule

When I was a kid my dad told me to read a Perry Mason book because I was bored. Once I picked it up I was hooked on mystery books. After that I went to Nancy Drew books and now that I am old I just read any type of mystery.

I've read many John Grishom books and enjoyed them all.

Louis L'amour is a great western writer. I read about 80 of his.

Stephen King is a master in grossing you out.

There are many I like bit I don't think I have a favourite.

Anne Rice has an awesome talent for making you want to be a vampire.

Just finished reading a true story by John Grisham called "An Innocent Man". It's still on the best seller list and is a real page turner. I highly recommend it.
