and for the "fat" jokes...

what the hell is so funny about that? do you understand WHY some people become like this? do you really know. do you know how they feel when they read this?

i can tell you a story
there is a german singer, marius müller westernhagen
hes a nice guy, alwas friendly, intelligent, ironic. and once he made a song called "dicke" (thick's) and he sayed stuff exactly the way you tried, doin jokes. and when it was played first time in radio, some FAT people killed them selves! an dsome other turned sick and started eating more and more!

so i hope you can understand why these jokes are not fun for me! christmas sad

CaptainMurray: Thanks Dawn. At 3 o'clock it will be four complete days and you know what? I think it's getting easier. Of course I'm still on the patch so I'm getting nicotine but I ain't smoking. I'm not coughing anymore and my breathing is much better. Now if I only had something strenuous to try.

Congratulations. It's not easy to do. Easier to quit now than end up in a Cardiac ICU.

Best of luck. No matter how hard it is, it's worth it. You'll feel better, and yes you will be cranky, but that just proves you are human.

Change how you do an activity you did the most smoking at. Example, if drinking coffee after supper was the worst time, just change the routine.

Drink lots of water, and keeping active, helps when those craving hit. The plastic coffee stir sticks help a lot. Pretend they are a cigarette.

Best of luck to you.
