Dawn50: I myself will turn 60 in June, I just relocated from a place I called home.

It is stressful when u leave family behind

I was not ready to completely retire & where I was living it was impossible to find employment unfortunately it is who u know to gain employment (small community) & the age was a big factor.

Where I worked company closed, could not find employment in my field after 2 years decided to pick up and relocate to Niagara, my youngest does reside here. But it was the most difficult decision I made leaving family especially my grandchild who I enjoyed very much so.

This was the best decision I have made now settled after 3 weeks, applied a few positions (part time positions) and now I am employed how wonderful it is to know companies see the knowledge & not the age

And just love it here

if your 20 and give up its too late, if your 70 and give up its too late. in other words its never too late to start a new life. congratulations, im glad thing are working out for you.

New life ... I kind of think of it as same book different page and you can turn it anytime you want! Meaning I'm still me but moving forward and can easily look back at what I've accomplished ...beer

BTW~ your really a beautiful lady! I hire you to help plant my garden anytime or maybe just stand in it and put the flowers to shame! Good luck!dancing

Yeah, I agree. Never too late to start over.
For instance, I wish my grandma would find an activity partner of some sort.
She's so lonely since my grandpa passed away and I don't like thinking of her alone or anything.
Someone her age to walk with, drink wine with, I dunno'. Whatever else old people do.

She's pretty awesome. I love her. Wish we had a better relationship, but what can you ask for y'know.

I'll be an awesome parent.

Love your new picture, you do not look 60. It is good to know things are going good for you, I feel sometimes that this is it for me, that I let the boat pass me by.

It's never too late Kitty, unless they are nailing shut your coffin. :-)

What you might choose to change and start over might not be the same as others. So many people have trouble making just a little change of some sort, but most of the time it is worth it.

thumbs up
We all face changes in our life due to our circumstances and for some of us as we age it can be a difficult transition to start a new life in a new location
We grow and learn through all our experiences in life
if we don't except change we will not try and by not trying something new we can become frustrated very mad at ourselves because change is what we need in our life at that particular moment but fear holds us back Fear of the unknown What lies ahead

Never too old to make changes in our lives wine

Soon I will be 71 years old
What I am trying to say is that I am still trying to make a new life for
myself and I refuse to give up.
As long as there is life in me, there is hope.teddybear
