Morning everyone! About a year ago (maybe even longer) we had a thread people kinda dropped in before starting the day. Was fun.....
Let's see if we can do it again!

I'm just finishing off my coffeepot before getting into motion. Have a BBQ/meeting starting at 11 am this morning.
Just love the meetings were there is food involved, lol. My favorites are the breakfast meetings.

Have a great day and try to stay cool!!teddybear

Good Morning every one.

Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Need to get some cleaning done, putter around the garden, and do some work I brought home from my job, and of course pop in here from time to time.

Tomorrow, usual supper at my parents. Hmmm I might even phone my Dad today to see if he enjoyed his concert we got the tickets for. wave

Morning! Been up for an hour but the coffee is not kicking in just yet. It is again very humid here and raining. Looks like we might get some thunderstorms as well.
Haven't really thought about the day yet. Think we might just take it easy today. A little bit of cleaning here and there...... we'll see!

Have a great day everyone!

Hey Angel, where did you move from? Didn't you already live in St. Caths?

Good morning, hope all is well with you.

Just having me first mug of tea, and have the spread sheet from work set up for me to do some more work.

Sun is out and we expect to hit about 28 today. Going to my parents for supper and my Aunt that is visiting from England will be there.

It will be fun watching the twins take over because they are walking every where, and see how much the new baby has grown.

Hope you all have a great day.beer

Hey Kim, when you see your aunt, ask her if she was born within the sounds of the bow bells

Oh ok, never mind then.. The bow bells are on a cathedral called the Bow Cathedral, and when they ring the bells, it's said that if you can hear them chiming, then you are born within the sound of the bow bells, which means you're cockney
My grandparents on my mothers side were from England, and yes they were cockney, I remember my grandmother telling me she had to pass the queens palace on her way to and from school every day

I almost dropped a load when I found out it's cheaper to fly from Vancouver to England than it is to fly from Vancouver to Toronto
and for the record..I'm not a bird, I don't fly. I hate planes, the last time I was on one, I asked for a center seat either near the front or the back, so where did these beanbags put me, yup window seat right over the wing. I had no intention of looking out the window, but this miserable little brat kept jumping from seat to seat, and when she got infront of me, she asked me, mister, why is there an arrow on the wing ? yea like I really wanted to look out and see it, finally I told her it's to let the pilot know which way the wind was blowing, her mother came over and asked me if her kid was bothering me, and I said, yes, please her her go back to her seat before I throw up on her shoes. The stew came over and asked if I'd like a drink to settle my nerves, and I told her, either that, or I'm having a smoke, she said there was no smoking on borad the plane, I said, fine, I'll just stand on the wing and hold on til I'm finished my smoke..didn't take her long to get me that drink

You've got to be joking.............. Brew is afraid of flying????

Flying won't hurt you silly...... it's the crash landing. grin (if the airline food does not do it first)

My mother makes the same complaint.... in 2000 when I was returning to Edmonton, it was 1,200 each for myself, and my sons.

My mother was leaving for England and that cost just over 600. go figure.

Hey Brrrreeewwwww......... super guess I'll never see you in the mile high club. grin

beer Morning all (it's coffee), and yes I just got up had a late night; looks like a beautiful day - as opposed to yesterday with torndoes and major storm cells....ahhh, the predictable summer weather of the prairies, what would we do without it? Fall off out toes...innocent

Sure you'll see me in the mile high club, only instead of using a plane to get me up that high, I have this neat packet of green herb to get me there wink
