Just to give y'all something to think about. If you were given the opportunity to "time shift" and attend any world event, where would you like to go and what would you like to witness? The catch is, you will only be a "fly on the wall", cannot change the course of events or history. Oh, and if it is too difficult to narrow down to one, share all!
Mine?
1.I would love to witness my Great Grandma disembarking at Halifax, April 1914; after leaving her family in Edinburgh to marry her love here in Saskatchewan.
2. I would like to have the opportunity to witness the very minute that victory was announced of WWII.
I would like to go back in time and witness my great grandfather set sail on the first ship he built (The Annie B) 1868. The ship went down at sea in 1878 in the Atlantic Ocean ,in what was called the worst storm of the Century.
I know it sounds terrible but I have a morbid fascination about witnessing the Russian assault on Berlin in the final days of World War Two. And/or Alexander's victory over Darius in 335 BC.

It's not terrible or morbid - think most people would like to witness world/life altering events; it's human curiousity and the need for an occasional adrenaline rush

I think it would be awesome to go back in time and witness historical events
