if yer out fishing << not the kind you do here>> and yer tackle box falls overboard so you cant fish anymore just take out a medium can of copenhagen ,,sprinkle it on the water ,,when the fish come up to spit bang em on the head with a paddle an catch yer limit ..anyone know a better way..

About 15 years ago out on the Sunshine Coast (BC of course) I was out fishing with my cousin, and after about an hour my pole littlerly bent in half. I was reeling in with everything I had in me, and it kept swimming around in circles. My cousin suggested I just cut the line and let it go, said it's probably a dogfish, but I told him I didn't care if it was an elephantfish I wasn't about to lose that fight. Finally just after an hour of fighting with the bloody thing it broke water, and yes I pulled it in, and you should have seen the look on my cousins face when he saw that I had caught a 38.5 pound ling cod. It made the paper as the largest ling cod caught on the Sunshine Coast, and all it took was 3 pieces of corn and ALOT of struggling...it tasted great, especially after I added the bar-b-q sauce on it
