I like some of the reasoned responses like the 51 million people who can't get insurance from the co's and those who can't afford medical care for their parents and kids.
We truly live in a wonderful place thanks to the decisions made by past govt's
You're right Daggs, it's a crazy mixed up world - sometimes living in the 1800's seems pretty reasonable on the odd day or two...

ha!! my boyfriend thinks that good ol' USA is the best thing since slice of bread and wants to move back there... he reckons that Australia is nothing but overtaxed, greedy good for nothing nation....

Sometimes we have to step back and look at what the bad is in other countries to watch that we don't end up making their mistakes by going the wrong way with those hard ball style public policies.Singleagain50: Good old Johnny Howard wanted to bring the USA health system here.
Crazy isn't it?I just hope the govt of the day gets a denticare scheme up and running as it's less than 1/2% extra tax to fund it.
