Merri, I had a good look at the point scores. I do like the scoring system (having been in a few unrelated things before). And the odd thing about Tranquil is that everyone seemed to have a different feeling for each photo.

I had a good look at the way the scoring went. You were the only one who had 2 first votes (sorry about getting the system changed). So many different first preferences by the voters. But this system shows that Rob's photo did have a lot of appeal to most people, maybe not there first choice.

And on a personal note, MY Paroo River photo scored well. Gives me a good feeling that what I see as my favourite picture is liked by others.

I am not out to win, I am a "happy snapper" when it comes to photos. They are for my memories. It does feel good to be able to share some of these memories and to let people see a bit more of what is out there.

Wish I had a few photos of my Europe trip (might outdo your Scotland ones great place). There are so many places around the world that have an interest to a lot of people. And one of the Meet people is about to head off to stay in the Lakes District. Wish I could show them the beauty of the place.
