robplum: oh really, to me that sounds awful

Well, I did it because I really did not have other options.

I am in a black spot where I live so I just went for something that could sort of give me some speed...

robplum: cruiser appears to be saying, he is paying $49 per-month for 7gb, which means he is purchasing 84gb per annum, which I’ve no doubt per gb is a cheaper rate than the mobile prepaid. I think at best, I would not use more than 20gb in any one year.

As the bit cruiser doesn’t use in the allotted one month is lost i.e = gb disappears…from what I would call ordinary use (not running internet servers or half a doz kids each running play station 24/7)
I think at best, I would not use more than 20gb in any one year.
The rates Telstra is now quoting for a 12gb block, which is good for one year, is $180 and that works out your paying $1.46 per megabyte, however the good news is you get to use all block you have paid for.
Maybe he downloads movies, music etc...
I've been happy to live where ADSL is and sit on my AAPT $39 month 2GB net with shaping so I can go over the 2GB but rarely do.

Could be, check your internet browser settings and also go to Control Panel/Device Manager and right click on the top heading (should be something like "merri weather", right click on that and then click on scan for hardware changers after thats run reboot the computer.

If that fails...emm try another video link and let me know how you got on

Hi you lot,
I don`t have a landline phone, just my desk top and mob. phone. Which I use the 7 gb`s every month, plus $1,200 worth of calls on mob. All up cost is $150 a mth, and I use it all, out here in the sticks, desk top is completely WIRELESS, no landline.......
Merri,
It seems as tho it could be your computer, as my jigger hooks into anything, anywhere, anytime and quickly.......
