I saw it on the news tonight. They say there is a website you can go to to check if you WILL be infected. I'm scared to try it cause it might do more harm then if I just keep my fingers crossed.uh oh

Rob - how do you figure 65 hours. I'm in New Jersey. It will be in 1 hour and 10 minutes for me. Even with the difference in your time from me it can't be 65 hours....can it?

Easiest way to prevent malware, viruses etc., switch the internet and the computer off when not in use..... and back up any important information on sd xd cards, memory sticks or portable hard drives -

Oh i copied news item from the other day to show Carl not everybody think Mac computer are safe from it.

Monte this thread i posted on the subject the other day has a Australian Government link at the bottom of the thread. I've used it and believe it is safe to visit, only takes a trick to check your computer, no need to download or anything, just visit.
However if your online Monday morning then your probably ok.

Better to pay the money ($27) gets you updates and ongoing then protects your computer better than the free version
