The kid and I were in City farmers this morning and we saw that they had small chickens for $15 each!

So I said they are only $4 per kilo at Coles?

Yes I got looks! But that is just my everyday look on life,

So what have you said that turned heads?

doh

A customer was considering purchasing a white leather bed but was concerned about it getting marked, grubby etc.

I suggested that this concern could be valid when it comes to a lounge, being in the general living area where there's more activity .. I then followed that up by mentioning that I have a white leather bed and it's fine cos nothing much goes on in there .. uh oh

Obviously that wasn't how I intended that remark to come out giggle

I had a migraine yesterday morning,
So I rang work and No answer? Just a machine, to I left a message that I would not be in,
Ten minutes later I get a phone call from one off the other drivers, that his car had broken down so he couldn’t get to work either plus he added he rang another guy first that has the flu and also will not be at work, then he asked if I knew any other guys phone numbers? So after working out which drivers were on holidays and who had an RDO I was left with the managers phone number, so I rang him and woke him up at 6.10 am to tell him I would not be at work, as you would realizes managers are not used to doing much at that time in the morning so after 3 attempts off just telling him my name with a bloody head ache, I just said (head ache dickhead I wont be in today!)

Turns out five drivers didn’t turn up yesterday, they had to use all the spare drivers they could find to cover,

Some days you just have to love working for local government, especially when you get to call the boss a dickhead at 6.10 in the morning and a fossil at night!
professor grin rolling on the floor laughing

You wouldn’t believe it this day and age but, I was the first person to put a deposit down on this land release, in fact the land had not even been fully released, the night I put the deposit down, but my house was the last one in the street to be finished! So all the fences were up before I moved in, so all the neighbours gave me the bill two weeks after I moved in just after I got out off hospital with my foot,
They didn’t like the fact I have a boat?

The garden is a work in progress , extremely slow progress! But it will get there eventually,

The plants I have been waiting for are now in stock but I don’t have the cash? Right now!

The kid did ask me about a thousand questions while the house was being built will we have this or that? The answer was always eventually? It wont happen over night but it will happen!
doh

Too anyone else its just four walls and a roof, but every day after work the kid and I sit down and talk for hours about our days,

that’s what makes it a home,
cheers
