Forget the travel agents. Just go online to find flights and rooms. Although contact Flight Centre in Hurstville NSW and mention "Wash" to the Manager and you might get a good deal (my nephew's wife, Belinda if she is still there). But look around on the net for deals.
And melb is the home to decent coffee. And I know the greatest little cake/coffee shop in St Kilda for the best of Polish cakes.
