Got this idea listening to the radio in the car today, apparently Russell Brand (pommie actor) went to Olympics with an American girlfriend, he hooked up with one of the Spice Girls and sent his girlfriend back to the States?
How bad is that?
Not happened to me, except on my honeymoon (sign of things to come?) had a huge row with hubby on the golf course, he was acting like a jerk, I stormed off, put my clubs in the car, gave him the keys and got a cab to the waterfront and had a couple of chardys!!
Didn't take long for the cracks to show in that union

Reminds me of my 1st separation. Except I was on a cruise. Not used to doing the water walk so had to stay on board. But did meet #2 after a while.

I have not experienced such a thing.. I guess the trick is to do what I did, I left mere male at home and went bymeself...

And the end result was??? okay, it paid off for you. There are times when options come up that see "our futures" could be better when we do some thing different. And take those chances. Some times they work out to be great.
But many of us mere males think toooo far in the future. And see the problems and are not willing to risk our future together for a 'chancy' thing when we 'know' what we are doing right now will guarentee a future.
Yeah, I had the chance of buying gold in the 78 at $200 per ounce, but was unwilling to risk the investment. A year later, it hit $600 per ounce. It was a risk I didn't take, was simply thinking about a future where gold at that time was only increasing at 6% when I could get 10+% from banks

Closest I ever got was with some bird when I was in my early twenties .. she had told me she was keen to go out with me and when I took her out to a club ... she just played up to the bouncer ...
So I just wandered off and met another woman and just as I was finally having some fun the first ChicK came wandering back ... apologising and using the eXcuse of she wanted to make me jealous BlaH .. BlaH .. and more BlaH ...
I drove her back home and never again took her up on an offer of another night out ...
Well I went out plenty more nights, just never towed her along again ..

Sounds like the story of my old life .My ex and her parents went to the casino one night playing keno when it firt came out wrote down the numbers I would the next game .came up the game i didnt paly missed out on $250'000 !!!
Thats life you just gotta pick ya self up and keep going .
