Serious Singles? (44)

Hi, I was just wondering how many nz ppl are on this site seriouly looking to find a partner or do ppl just use this site as a way of looking round to see whats available?

Think most are 'shopping around' not really serious about finding someone

Some are seriously looking around but it is a bit hard when the one you are attracted to lives so far away. Aust is a very big country so we have people from Brisbane, Sydney, Melb, Adelaide and Perth on here a lot (and a few other places around as well). A day or 2 of very serious driving just to get somewhere.

But "shopping around?" Maybe, or maybe just looking for someone a bit closer so that relocation does not impact as much on family and friends.

And some of us have made some friends on here, people that we have met at meets and visited over time and keep up the friendship. And hey, where can a 60yo and a 30yo (other than my daughter) have time together just relaxing and enjoying a night out (hi Lou) without being worried about one or the other 'hitting' on you.

But there are also the others that have made that extra yard, and still want to keep connected with the friends they have made here. The website is "connecting singles", the Forum is about where a lot of us stay connected.

And China, if I was 20 years younger (like some of us wish) and you lived in Melb, I would be beating off the competition.
