Garden show sounds lovely merri I usually do the Kings Park native Western Australian wild flower display in Spring which is an amazing display, it ususally takes all day to stroll through Kings park looking at our native wild flowers that grow all over W.A.

Fascinated by flamenco dancing, has a lot of set moves that can look stilted. But after watching it for a very short time, you get to see the meaning of the dance.
And I do love the food. Often went to the Spanish Club and Captain Torres in Sydney. Good food and decent prices, until the trendies found them.

Love the food and love to watch the dancing. But getting hard to find decent places these days.
My favourite was the garlic prawns but work mates said I had to give up eating them mid-week.
Late 70s was a good time for restaraunts as everyone seemed to want French. Had a favourite French restaraunt that would cost $100 in the 70s (which was considered moderate then, and that was the average wage) but could go Spanish, Greek, decent Chinese or Lebonese for $10 for 2, including wine and a 10% tip.
