a yearling we calved two weeks ago, big bull calf two of us couldn't pull out
she been down around two weeks, though she did get up by self then fell over before could grab tail, she still not able to stand
j came home with that set of hip lifters today, left her like that earler this evening but she wriggled out of them some how.

Couldn't get vidio to run without giving access to my Pb site , can here the fire roaring but can't see the thing . I shall try with Ishack tomorrow as brains on dip at the moment

I see the steel beams there , that the wind from three weeks back ? Beast looks alright , taking water and food she will live , otherwise food for dogs . Should make them look abit happier .wave wave

yeah the wind blew
she has been drinking and chewing on a bit of hay, had to clean her backside up, tea-tree oil soap and... lot of blow flies

When I was 13yo I went to an uncle's farm in Ireland, on the last day he got me to milk a cow and told me it would be good practise!!doh

I didn't know what he meant then blushing

I think I was traumatised by the experience for years wow

I dont blame you... I have never had anything to do with bovines either..

They look nice in a paddock, and that is all I know... grin

Oh milking is usually ok
a naughty boy once upon a time assisted a mate put milking machine cups on a cow, at end got him to pull the cows tail, each time he did another bit of milk appeared in the small glass you could see milk flow through, he kept pulling her tail for a long time

Not sure Paulownia trees make very good firewood, there wood more closely resembles Balsa Wood than firewood merri

spent time with imageshack and it dropped after 15 mins , could not tell how far it went as the page was blank . Front doors open with this one Robo , trying to sort and think I am close to Pb with a closed door .
