Disgraceful behaviour? He changed sides in politics, got handed the Speakers Job to tip the balance in Labor's way in the hung Parliament.
Huge salary, only heard of the reports of the contents of the alleged emails that are derogatory to women, or a certain part of women's anatomy. Accused of harrassing a junior staff member - and has the nerve to get all teary when he thanks his wife and family for their support
Now we are supposed to feel sorry for him as some Members are hinting about his 'delicate state of mind' and so worried about his mental state??
Well didn't he bring this all on himself?
He is still a thorn in the Govt's side as he is now on the Backbenches and they will have to suck up to him to get his vote.
No wonder he looks so smug!

and I thought... onya chick... as much as I dont like her for her lies, I reckon I dislike Abbot more, he has a habit of getting himself into heated excitment, then has to apologise for his behaviour...

Slipper is a LOW LIFE in the first degree' I have been watching this guy for a while ' his voters in good faith VOTED him in as a LIBERAL he violated their trust in him by switching sides to Labor, he rorted the system for everything it was worth with we the Taxpayers money,he had to repay $20,000 of it when they caught him out....did that stop him ....not on your nellie he kept spending everything he could get away with.

I was really making a point about the PM and her handbag brigade attacking Abbott about the way he treats woman in one breath and then fighting to keep Slipper in the speaker's job after what he said about females himself in those texts.
Makes me wonder about a guy chasing other guy's then' going home to his wife.

The simplest way for the Liberal party to smash the bankrupt nation party right now would be to remove Abbott and put a soft spoken statesman in the top job. Watch the swing voters ditch the social welfare party then.

I am still trying to get my head around the accusations against Peter Slipper.
I have known Peter since 1974, though I must say that I have not seen him for about 10 years. The Peter Slipper I know is nothing like the Peter Slipper as portrayed in the media and the man I have known is most certainly not queer. Until he married his first wife he was actually a bit of a pants man, so I find it difficult to believe that he has turned queer.
