Vodla, Vodla, Vodla. Ye have no faith. The Bible frequently refers to the greater purpose. Never actually tells us but..... The Qoran just promises us the 30 virgins in the afterlife. I have enough trouble dealing with one woman at a time now let alone 30 who don't know what they want.
But being an agnostic, I don't know if there is a "great purpose" in life but might as well enjoy what I can achieve while I am here.
I'm just watching a show on tele called Super Smart Animals. It's showing how animals learn to use tools or solve problems in order to get food and survive, to reproduce and perpetuate their species. Depending on whether you beleive we are a very successful species of animal or a higher being, dare I suggest that this could be our purpose (be it a great or insignificant purpose)To survive as a species now and into the future!! It featured a pet dog with all its basic needs met as far as food and comfort who learned to ride a skateboard (without any prompting according to the owner...(yeah right) but still, the point could be as humans have so much leisure time we begin to ponder our greater purpose, when it could just be as simple as survival. JMO.....

No needles, your opinion is yours and I have respected that, and I believe this is not a forum for such philosophies to be exchanged, it was a thread to comment on. I did without malice or judgement, you chose to judge others, your option, I choose not to argue. The forum is the place where we can express our views,opinions n ideas.However,the strategy is;When u run short of "ammunition",then have to run for cover !

Sorry Lasty, I don't think Vodla said was really saying there is "no purpose in life." Just that we can take any theory to any conclusion we want.
And it is up to us to take out of life what we want.
