reolvine420: what aspect of your life/personality do you value the most?

It is all about ATTITUDE for me. My attitude is die hard, I get things done, I learn easily, I am competitive and am persistent when I want something, it is my driving force and I strive to be the best I can at whatever I set out to do. I also recover well from setbacks, pick up, dust off and move on so nothing really holds me back and often makes me more determined to get it right because I don't like being beaten. laugh

Compassion and empaty are wasted on the undeserving, who see it as weakness and will exploit it.
Integrity is part of honour.

Carl, I will have no EMPATHY for you when you shoot that prowler and land up in jail.

Definition of honour:
noun
- [mass noun] high respect; great esteem: (his portrait hangs in the place of honour
- [in singular] a person or thing that brings esteem:
- the quality of knowing and doing what is morally right:

Dr Samuel Johnson, in his "A Dictionary of the English Language" (1755), defined honour as having several senses, the first of which was "nobility of soul, magnanimity, and a scorn of meanness." This sort of honour derives from the perceived virtuous conduct and personal integrity of the person endowed with it.

I have heard the arguments for and against. conversing

They say the hydroponic stuff can bring on psychosis in young men

They also say it releives suffering in those who suffer chronic pain

I have had a few joints in my youth and my experiences had no consequences for me except to relax me after the anxiety worn off(i can only speak of my experiences)

I give it a wide berth these days given my occupation and it certainly would not be worth losing my job seeing it's illegal and I am in a position where I am expected to set an example for young people. Also I don't feel I need it in my life anymore.

However, having seen young people under the influence of large amounts of alcohol, I can't see how governments can allow this alcohol to be so easily accessed by young people but continue to support the law against recreational use of cannabis.

This may be a simplistic view and I am sure everyone will have strong opinions on the matter, but thats mine hole

Agree with you Karl about compassion and and empathy.
I belive when you experience betrayal sometimes you have to not give them another chance as it will happen again.Though I have compassion, empathy I do not wish to be burned twice.I value respecting my elders and there words of wisdom.Like Karl you so remind me of past dear friend.

cause they can easily tax alcohol.......a law against a plant?that is a law against nature itself
