They both look like drugged ****ed trashy idiots i would have loved to see someone put them down or throw them off the bus (i mean physically throw them off it). That is what they deserved. Hate to see what that baby grows up to be like if they are not taken away from the parents like they probably should.

Hi..I just viewed the video on youtube and I hope all of those involved watch it in the hard light of day and wake up.....is this the kind of world that they want for their kids????
What causes people to turn to the side of an idiot like that? The mob mentality is frightening and disgusting...so sad to see.

And in my mind nothing excuses that kind of language or behaviour in public? At the very least the ones involved need Anger Management Training - and a lesson in how to have respect for other people??
JMHO

My team is 5 full-time and one part-time employees. The work area is open, except my fishbowl office which is not soundproof and we deal our ratepayers continually all day.

One staff member in particular seems to have issues on how to talk with the public and the language was at times more suited to the public bar at the local pub. Not in an office where people are on the phone all day and people walking through the area at different times of the day. And after hanging up, he would swear a bit, often loud enough to carry to other phones. And 2 other staff started picking up the swearing habit in the office.

I introduced a gold coin swear jar. Especially after management complained to me. In 6 months only managed to get about $15. And $3 was from me because when I chipped them about it, they asked me what they said. So I had to put in. The 2 staff who had picked up the habit thanked me because not only did it cut it right down from the 1 staff, but they actually stopped when not hearing it so often. And if they do swear, they come in and make a donation. But #1 swearer doesn't like giving out money but has almost stopped. But won't pay when he does.

snagsmoore: Do you think we agree with that? Like most countries, we have our issues. Are you telling us that nothing bad has ever happened to an Australian in France that we may be able to get hot under the collar about? Is it your opinion of Australia that we are generally a bunch of unsophisticated people incapable of controlling our racial opinions? According to some people in the world, we are country bumpkins who ride kangaroos to work too?? Why don't you tell us, as an outsider looking in, what is perceived as our country from your own opinion?

•The ANZACs’ first major battle in Europe was near the town of Fromelles in Flanders Fields near Belgium. For many it was also their last. In the 27 hours after the Australians first attacked the German trenches, 5,533 ANZACs had been killed or wounded. This was twice as many casualties as the landing at Gallipoli. Read more about recent find of those fallen.
•On 4 August 1916, the ANZACs finally captured the ridge line and what little was left of the towntownship of Pozieres in the middle of Le Somme. One out of every two ANZACs who fought at the Somme became a casualty. In all more than 22,000 men were lost.
•In 1917, the French village of Bullecourt sat in the middle of the Hindenburg Line. It was fiercely contended between the British/Australian troops and the Germans. Around 10,000 Australians were killed or wounded trying to save this small French village.•In 1918, the Germans planned a final great offensive capturing many towns in Le Somme and soon were within sight of the town of Amiens which if taken could have meant the loss of the war. The ANZACs were brought back from Belgium as ‘storm troops’.
•At first, the ANZACs fought at Dernancourt a town on the road to Amiens, where 4000 Australians beat off an attack by 25,000 Germans.
•Next the Germans attacked the French village of Villers-Bretonneux, after first using poisonous gas and artillery. When night fell, the ANZACs stormed from their trenches and counter-attacked. The ANZACs then had to enter the village and fight from house to house. Finally, Australian and French flags were raised over Villers-Bretonneux. When the ANZACs stopped to bury their dead – 1,200 Australians had been killed saving the village. It was not until they were putting the date on some makeshift crosses that they realised the date – it was ANZAC Day 1918, three years to the day since they had stormed ashore at Gallipoli.
•The Australian flag is still flown at Villers-Bretonneux. It flies atop the Australian National Memorial, on which is listed the names of over 10,000 Australians killed in France who have no known grave. The French have called the main road through Villers-Bretonneux, Rue de Melbourne. The town has a restaurant called Restaurant le Kangarou, and the school, called Victoria College, was built from the donations of Victorian school children in the 1920s.Throughout the school are the words “N’oublions jamais l’Australie” – never forget Australia.

snagsmoore: Thank you Marc, glad you have an opinion of your own rather than the diatribe the media calls news. Of course it is disgusting how that woman was treated but it could happen to anyone anywhere in the world at any time and why one story takes precedence over others is beyond me. Unfortunately it is the human condition, not isolated to any one country. It is also unfortunate that some countries choose to forget what happens in their own before pointing the finger at others and then before you know it there is a protest that turns into a riot and it has gone from one person being hurt to hundreds. We as a country are outraged at the behavior of these people also.

Sorry for not being so "kind", I am just being realistic and you could say that rubbing our faces in the behaviour of a select few could be on the insulting side. Especially seeing Australia is one of the most multicultural places in the world.

Thanks S. Have a good week.
