Micky, make sure you have all the documentation before you go any further.

You still have the Family Court to go through with the divorce and hopefully they will recognise the agreed settlement if you have the documentation about settlement. Grown up kids does go a good bit your way.

I am willing to chat about this behind the open forum.

That bit of paperwork is a start, find it or chase the conveyancer for paperwork. Write down everything you remember and try and put dates to it. Hopefully your kids are willing to back you up with stuff.

And if you go through the Family Court for the divorce, you can get a judgement made about property. But it could have a downside as well if she decides she wants more...eg Super. Don't mention it. She gets a share up until the day of property settlement. Even 20 years later, although I do hope they have dropped that since I went through mine 4 years ago.

ps, keep investing spare cash in gold and not your super until you get this settled.

Wasn't referring to the toilet roll although most of the whole process is crap.

When you go into court with nothing to back you up, everyone including your lawyer thinks you are lying to hide something.

He said..She said..He said..She said doesn't go down well and just wastes time and your money. Have the facts, even transcripts from your phone, to back you up. The one on the Bench only wants hard facts.

WA clamped down on cowboys years back, we had one guy come down Greenmount hill and killed 23 people! There are signs put truck in lower gear two kms away, he came down in top gear? Hitting peak hour traffic! If you see a sign in WA, do it! don’t think twice! Our road rules are there for a reason! And at most times they apply to trucks!

After more than 30 years in road safety, signs only mean something to those "who do not know the road."

It does not apply to the locals or those who always use the road because "they know how to use these roads." Until some little thing changes.

Have spent many years listening to the hype about "city-dwellers" not being able to "drive on rural roads." And have really seen nothing to really repudiate this. Yeah, they are bloody hopeless drivers out of suburbia.

A recent study of rural crashes has highlighted that the city-dwellers are less likely to crash on rural roads.dunno dunno The rational, or what I have heard from 'locals,' is that the "locals know the road and know how to drive them." But they are the ones crashing.

Why? okay, the gurus of "we know why" have come up with the theory of the the city-dwellers really do not have a clue and do ease off. Their rural counterparts have always "used this road doing 120km/hr and even if it is raining, we should be able to do it."frustrated frustrated
