Hi polleagle
Thank you for your information.. that is terrific..
One batch I made, I just cut up the peaches and put sugar and a bottle of vodka.. leaving that as it is , in a dark cupboard til next christmas..
Then, another batch, I put peaches, sugar, yeast and water.. supposed to leave it there for 6 weeks, and stir once a week.. but I think I overdosed on the yeast.. so I had this in two crocks with lids..
At six weeks, I decantered all of it thru clothes of varying thickness a couple of time, and put it in bottles.. They sit in a cupboard, but I dont like the look of it.. Its all very murky...
Another crock pot is still full in the laundry, I dont know what to do with it.. I have not decantered it.. because I am not sure that I am doing the right thing..
But... and there is a but... I gave away my mulberries to a rellie who made a liquer using the first method... and I tried some that she made last christmas that was well over a year.. (she had moved houses, and had forgotten about it, ) and it was very nice..
So I will do same same with the Mulberries this year.. Let me know if you want the Mulberries.. I get tons and they just sit on the tree til they rot..
