The beaches on the Gold Coast have been badly damaged, 3 metre high sand cliffs where the beach used to be in some places blues

Think I heard the BOM say that the cyclone season is going to go thru March and April. doh

Hi Nature..wave

I am so very sorry to hear that... I know you did say that your roof was leaking, but sounds like its all very much worse..

I hope you have some plan in mind for where to go and what to do..

might sound like giggly-gog but i have just been reading about derivatives
in part in the australian e.g.
The most recent figures from the Bank of International Settlements in Basel show over-the-counter derivatives totaling $US639 trillion. ($620 trillion).
And no one really knows what they all are.

All the furniture is mildewed ,taken three ute loads to tip already.

Main problem being it is making us both ill,

But all good, they are just things,

Sooner the qld govt makes it mandatory to build houses on pontoons the better, that way the house raise and lower with the water level. And build decent aqueducts around the towns to lessen the impact of flood, same as the ancient peoples of india did when the snow from the himalayas melted

Just move to the state of excitement! WA

We have no box jelly fish! No sea wasp! No crocodiles! The sharks ate them!

So why is it the state off excitement you may ask?

Just jump into the water! Once the fins stop circling there is nothing to worry about!

Thanks Merri,
Hi pebs,
Hi blizzard

It is a rental property rob,if it was mine the problem would have been fixed by now,
The owner came up and fixed the outside roof,so he said, and the lights well what he could,
And I thank him for that as he lives in Sydney.
Then ceiling inside was still leaking, section of ceiling held up with 2 bits of fibro and a beam nailed to my kitchen cupboards,
Got s.e.s. out they put up plastic sheet and stuff on outside roof, said that was all they can do.
Now house is full of mildew, light the fire to try and dry things out and the ceiling cracks more,
Owner says its an insurance job, carnt get a roofer for 2 weeks that was 5 weeks ago.
Son and I are I'll from mildew,so we stay nights down with the girls, come up every second day to do cleaning,

Just so over it,don't want to pay rent for something we are not able to live in,
