A lot of different green plants are good for you to eat... some are the weeds in the garden.
I think..... we used to know what we could and could not eat at one stage.. ( not in my lifetime) but other memories have been shattered , and our learned behaviour is modern cooking books, and going off to a supermarket..
But I think there was a time where we all had some sort of understanding about what was growing about and how to cook it.
and I believe that nature has naturally given us all the foods as tools to heal us of every malaise, except we forget this... and ignore it...

hemp is already commercially grown in Australia, it produces a really high quality fiber faster than trees
the cancer bit i think maybe relates pain relief
produces high quality useful oil
produces very durable fabric
would probably be a good stock feed
before nylon pretty much all ropes were made from hemp, probably sails to (though not sure)
you cook it, make cookies, even smoke

This is not new I’ve seen the research been done on it at least 5 years old by now. As far as Im aware from previous research, smoking or digesting cannabis leads to many mental disorders, one of them being schizophrenia. However some abstracts from cannabis apparently have cured(or reduced) some types of cancer in rats.Cannabis

Talking about drugs has anyone heard of a drug called DMT? It was brought to my attention only few days ago, I had a laugh at reading and watching some of the videos on it. damn crazy stuff.

Ok, I posted a bit hastily previously and didn't read the link properly. The website quotes evidence that Cannabis oil "may" be effective in treating cancer.
"Cannabinoids may very well be one of the best disease and cancer fighting treatments out there. If you have heard of Rick Simpson you have heard of his methods of preparing cannabis or hemp in such a way where he is able to extract the oil from it and use that oil to treat cancer. Rick has been very successful in his work and his popularity is growing as a result."
There are some links that lead to some scientific publications. i will follow some of these up later.
However, I still think that "ending" dependence on coal, oil and gas is a pipe dream. If I'm understanding this correctly, the idea is that hemp grows quickly and can be converted to fuel in various ways? My guess is that this would be feasible only if we devoted all food cropping areas to hemp production. Same problem as other biofuels, eg sugar cane.
The theory is that if you ingest the oil or eat the leaves, you don't get high. You only get high when there is heat involved, eg smoking or baking into cookies.
Depents on the type of oil, if you eat the leaves of mature cannabis, you'll probably relax quite a lot and reflect quite a lot to, getting high is misleading, more likely be space out, actually look into thoughts quite deeply, get hungery and thirsty while think nice gental thoughts.

Paranoia is what I have observed due to living and working with people that had problems, with over use? Like most drugs in small quantities socially its recreational, but daily use is an addiction!
But being a single Aussie Male, drinking smoking or anything else you can get away with is a bonus while your still single, party on dude!

It is. Someone I know well has "drug induced psychosis". Who knows, maybe she was susceptible?
Maybe those who are pre-disposed to it are more likely to seek out drugs?
