Blizzard14u: Definitely not! Nothing in common, it was bad enough having a wife six years younger! Its still bad having an EX that you have to say everything twice too? She is blonde!

There is no such thing as a blonde joke! They are all documented facts!
Like the blonde that was sacked from the chemist shop? Coz she couldnt get the little bottles in the typewriter?

wash2u: I was a bit conscience of the sensitive issue surrounding her height deficiency in MY family......

I do recall one of my cousins making the reference "Thanks be that I didn't get those genes." My shortest aunt is 5' 8"

A lot of my female cousins are a bit less. Although one is topping 6'

Hi Wash, wave

I always wished I was taller, but now that it did not happen, I feel happier with people around me that are short.. except my son, who made it to 6'.3", and I reckon his baby son is going to head up tallish, grin

I will just have to bring my own ladder... lol

Blizzard14u: The job I got they asked for fit active people with a HR licence, then they went on to say that they encourage minorities and women and indigenous people too apply, I was working there as a casual at the time, actually doing the job! When they asked if I applied for the job I said No!

As I am not a gay aboriginal lesbian tennis player!

But I still got the job? And I have made them pay for having me every week!

Today’s little push was, six off us got back early to work on one of the guys car, took about an hour, then we sat around drinking the carton off bourbon for doing the car repair, while still getting paid at full rate?

Jeez Blizz...wave

Too do my job you need a HR license and be able to drive a truck, you also need to have good eye hand coordination! Using a joystick!
I am a computer gamer! I have done all the Wing Commander games plus a lot more in my years off gamming! I am very good with my hands, and computers, so I can do my job in half the time off other drivers, as well as I am really good at maps! I can finish a ten hour day in less than six hours, the boss started getting upset that I was returning too early doing what it takes the other drivers hours longer to do? So now I park up and do my shopping while at work, instead off making lunch in the mornings, I sit at a table and have an hours lunch break wherever I feel like stopping, we are not allowed to drink alcohol when driving the trucks! So I cant stop for a counter lunch and a show! Bummer man!

I didn’t mention I sometime park my car in the truck wash bay and give it a good high pressure clean!

Today when we were working on the guys car I went in and asked the boss for some CRC to loosen the bolts? He just pointed to it and said yes!

I like to push the limit’s a little more than others! After three years off me the boss just hides?

Know what you mean. Missing my 2 engineers so guess who has to do their work as well.

And add to that, the new Director wants the Capital Works Manager (as well as his normal work of developing the Capital Works Program, reporting on the Capital Works Program and managing the Capital Works Program) to identify all Grants applied for over the last 4 years , what & when monies were received with evidence of us receiving it (neither of have ever been told this by Finance nor are Finance willing to get one of their people to help us), how we have spent the money (we know what we have spent), and where any surplus money is sitting now.

"Oh, I want this by COB tomorrow."

My Unit does a lot of the applications and reporting so I am very much involved in this. As the engineer who did all the funding applications and reporting has left, guess which bunny has to provide all of the information NOW? frustrated frustrated

2 weeks down the track and still not able to track down if we ever received the payments because Finance "can't spare anyone to do this. You will have to do this."

And we have no access to their system to find out if we every got a $ from these grants.

Wouldn't it be great to have a job where you get an hour for lunch, after you have had a couple of hours shopping, and share a few drinks with your workmates.................and get paid for it.

Putting my Thunking Cap on here and playing Devil's Advocate.

1. ASIO is likely to lock you up in prison for a number of years. They will continually monitor your actions during your visit great if you get sick as they will give you immediate medical care, provide you with somewhere to stay, clean clothes, clean bed linen, and regular meals.

2. CENRELINK (less) will stop you getting money. frustrated frustrated You will need to find money from somewhere for medical care (or wait in very long queues), somewhere to stay, clean clothes, clean bed linen, and regular meals.

3. Hold up a shop or bank and the local Police will give you the same service as ASIO.

Options 1 & 3 do have many benefits, and your friends and family know exactly where you are all the time and how to contact you.rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing

Merriweather: Oh, just go for it Wash...

I have just accepted an invite from a 30 yr old...

One of my nieces (33yo) has a "boy-friend" around 60 (told he was "my age" so could be anywhere from 50-70).

I do have lunch or coffee with a couple of younger girls, and we do enjoy having lunch or coffee. Something that I don't want to push at my age. I do enjoy their company (and hope they do too). We flirt but we do know that is all it is.

And a few mates have tried to hook me up with their relos overseas who want to come here. Yeah, nice to come home to a cooked meal, someone to give me a massage, but I do hate the boom-boom music.

In response to: Ajax wrote: Would you go 5 to 10 years younger or 5 to 10 years older either way to the preference age set on your profile?

I would go older, my ex was 13 years older than me, but dont think I would go much younger than my stqated preference.

I have put in my ideal preferences, but I am aware that life is generally not ideal! laugh

It depends on the person, personality and the circumstances you both find yourself in.
