If I knew then what I know now, I probably wouldn't have made all those mistakes.
And I probably would have been winning the Tatts every week as well.
Except I was probably suffering from old-timers disease from an early age and would have forgotten it already.

I would have taken the public service office job offered me after I finished my apprenticeship, instead of sticking to my trade,
I think it might have been a better life style choice,

If I had known that being with 1 woman for 25 years would have ended up like this, I would not have changed anything. Might have done some things differently so that it could have been forever (as the marriage vows said).
Hindsight is great but where I am has been the result of a few of my own decisions.

I would have tried harder to get a public service job .And not bothered trying to get an apprenticeship to be told I was hopeless!!
And I wouldn't have done the two full time jobs I've had for many years

I just wish I knew enough back then over 30 years ago to tell her that being around her made me feel like no other woman had ever made me feel .. I wish I had, had the wisdom to tell her she was the most special person to have entered my life from the outside world ...As for her kisses, well they just fitted and I can still see the sparkle in her eyes and the joy in her smile when ever we got together ten or so years back ...I think we have had it for this lifetime though I am doing my best to remember for when we meet again next time around ....
I hope I know this then when the time comes around in an other life ..
