Walking along minding my own business, going back to my car, waiting to use an ATM when I hear "Hi, how are you doing?"
I turn around expecting to see someone I know, all I see are strange faces, I am just about to say "Sorry but, do I know you?" Then I realise he/she is talking into a mobile phone with blue tooth

Yes I was having a poo in a shopping centre toilet block << yeah I know you did not need to know this ... any way the bloke in the cubicle next door says good day mate how is your day .... I replied with feeling better now and you .... ONLY to realise he was talking on his phone ....
I waited for him to leave before I got up I was so embarrassed ...

I remember only a few years ago, they used to say that only people with mental disabilities talked to themselves. these days, everyone appears to be talking to themselves, and we'd never know the difference, because we dont know for sure that there is another on the end of their cell phone...

Had an apprentice at work last year,try and waste ten minutes before knock off time,he pretended to talk to someone on the phone,even had a minor argument.Had egg on his face when his phone rang during the argument.

that is funny... but I would love to know what you said tho...Been caught a few times with people starting conversations next to me "Hi, how are you?" 30 nanoseconds later I realise that the drop-dead gorgeous chick next to me is on the phone.
Strolling back to work from lunch last week (eager and keen as usual) and there is this conversation coming up behind me and mate. We move a bit aside to let them by....one guy goes by and keeps on talking. Stay over to let the other/s catch up. No-one.
I know I do this at home when I am on my own (scares the neighbours at times), just hope I don't do it in public.

While we are on the subject - can you please stop walking towards me without even looking up while you are texting or pushing buttons on your phone?? I step aside to let you by so YOU don't walk straight into me, you don't even acknowledge my existence let alone say sorry, excuse me, thanks!
