So Im walking out of Bunnings accross the car park and suddenly i am on the bitumen under a cammray Im freakin right out screaming!! The car stops( mm did I hit something???? thinks the old girl drivin and starts to move off me...
Finnally she realises that crumpled bump on the road is me !! parks her car takes out her rollator and says are you ok? I look up and say "Do I look ok to you?"several surgeriess a shoulder reconstruction months of physio and I am nearly fit enough to have my last operation.Knee surgery ! After that Im good as new .....sorta

I say to a lot of people "We never know what tomorrow may bring", or "Our lives can change in a phone call". Working in aged care we also have 25 % of our clients who are not aged care but have come unstuck in one way or another whether it be Mental Health issues, serious injuries or illnesses and it certainly reminds you every day to be thankful for what you have got?
Your health is critical to your well being and what you are able to do in your day to day life.
Here's to a speedy and good recovery for you Kizzy.

I did and it wasn’t for me!! Well it was but as you probably already know, my son has a Nephrotic syndrome and what if’s were playing to much on my mind. Hi Newlife and Thx , I was lucky that the persons CTP Greenslip is covering my medicals wages home help etc They have been awesome especially as it was my entire right side effected.My shoulder was the worst Ive 4 pins in it and three operations but I am now out of plaster & sling and can actually drive again well to the shops and back anyway Thank god!!! Ide have been screwed if I didnt have insurance.I am unsure what the future holds for my job as I may not be able to return to my current occupation so retraining may be on the cards.For now tho im a lady of leisure ,recovering at home catching up on some reading and reasearch so im making the best of it !

Ah no I didnt know about your sons condition,I remembered you wanted to be here for him tho I think its wise to be close by , Money comes and goes in this life,finances , opportunities new beginings are all part of it I am a firm believer in "We fall where we are supposed to land" Its how we get up makes the difference.

Yes interesting the drivers CTP covers 100% of lost wages indefinatly not like work cover where it reduces after 6 months I also have morgage insurance thankfully so my morgage is covered for 12 months too ,Its a big relief not to have to worry about the wolves at the door ,The CTP will cover any retrainin g /upskilling I will need to get back to work so thats comforting.
