No one would have believed that a ray could shoot down anything 20 years ago , what's in the future 50 years time is anybody's guess . not so long ago the UN expressed its concern about development of smart programed battlefield robot technology.
I've no doubt there is lots out there hidden just waiting to be used in conflicts still being cooked up.

someone sent me a short email a few years back of two insurgents in Iraq setting up a machine gun at nite,they had a small dog with them,and the yanks from 15 kilometres away using satellite tech,knocked off the insurgents,and left the dog unharmed,so they have unbelievable technology to use if they really want toI've no doubt there is lots out there hidden just waiting to be used in conflicts still being cooked up.
