most likely it will depending on the age and the processor and the speed of your network.

Depends on the bandwidth of your internet connection, whether your computer is 'clean' or if it has malware of some description running secretly in the background undetected.....

If using Microsoft Windows, when was the last time you ran maintenance software on it like "Wise Registry Cleaner", etc? Windows machines run on the Registry (a type of database that is subject to corruption from inproper shutdown routines, and other things) and it needs to be maintained every month or so for optimum performance.

It also depends on your machine. How big your processor is, how much RAM you have, various internet settings, threads, etc.

There are many factors that can slow your computer down.

Can't go past Telstra for patchy areas thumbs up
Jul 8, 2013 6:56 AM CST Question Thread
Yes its designed to cover areas like here where there is no other sensible option. Is the fast available broadband anyway (out outside CBD, which has 4G) never goes slow, by purchasing the top-up 12 month option, you get to use every single MB you paid for, is never throttled back, has no contract, no bills etc, sliced bread...
Mean while i just checked and Telstra site is selling same Dongle for half price $39
Telstra Elite Mobile Wi-Fi (MF60)

Half Price - Was $79 now only $39.50

Get connected with fast speeds in more places.

Up to 2X faster than the Telstra Pre-Paid Mobile Wi-Fi and Telstra Turbo® Pre-Paid USB modem and on the Next G® network - Australia‘s largest national Mobile Broadband Network.

* Portable Wi-Fi connection for when you‘re out and about
* Supports up to 5 users / wi-fi enabled devices simultaneously from a single Next G® connection
* Compact, lightweight and attractive design. OLED display and external antenna port
* Supports a micro SD™ card up to 32 GB (sold separately)

5GB included data to use in Australia for your first 30 days

(B) i clean my computer with Ccleaner, no the pictures wont slow a computer down, your vodaphone access may well be slow and therefore slow to load picture, but wont slow your computer.

I like that I can use my broadband allowance for my tablet independently but can then hook it up to my lappy for internet use also thumbs up
Jul 8, 2013 7:10 AM CST Question Thread
yes you can, if you purchase the $180 12 month 12 GB block it is quite a lot cheaper per MB, a 12 month time limit that likely means you'll top up before time runs out, top up charges are listed on this link:

lookin try some puter maintenance as well

you need to clear your cache, instructions are for firefox browser but all are pretty similar

firstly
go to your browser
press alt+f then go to tools then options
in firefox it is the network tab and then the clear cache button
After you have done that
go to
start button
programs > accessories > system tools > disk clean up and run that
After you have done that
again go to
programs > accessories> system tools > defrag And run that

this will tidy things up for your computer a little and might help with speed

hope it helps and

thanks for the reminder, do it for the computer at work all the time but seldom do it for my lappy.. consider it now done!teddybear

na don't do that, firstly they will talk you into a contract instead of the pre paid, and if they don't it will cost you a lot more than buying directly of Telstra or on eBay. Last person i suggested getting one on CS had vodaphone contract, didn't listen to what i said, went to telstra shop to purchase pre paid dongle, instead signed up to another account or something....errrr
The eBay price is probably cheapest (just $2 postage) if you don't use paypal or credit card, you can usually Pay Anyone from you online banking.

Download and run crap-cleaner Ccleaner (just remember to deselect clear passwords if your allowing browser to save them) otherwise run Ccleaner and delete what it finds should be quite ok. Then run its Registry Cleaner, delete what it finds should be ok

if you can tell it to clean Telstra shop scold

I have a question so I'm briefly hijacking your thread, Lookin....

A few years ago there was an advert (possibly for Target?) with a song about either about a sick doll, teddy bear or child....I may have the sick bit wrong. God my memory's rubbish.

It was something about sitting round an apple tree? Possibly?

It was the same time as Down To The River To Pray was used in a different ad because I remember downloading both.

Any ideas what it was?
