I honestly believe all these 131 numbers are from when I was calling them from their internet service that I had disconnected because it would not work ...wanna be RiPPeD off go and do business with dodo ... amaysim is another good one, based on optus system, $39.95 a month, unlimited 13, mobile and landline calls, and 4gig of data.
I have been with them over a year now, and not had any problems.
but like Halv0 says there are plenty of plans out there, Aldi also have a mobile plan that is pretty good, kogan is another one as well that has good deals. Both Aldi and Kogan are based on the telstra system
I may pay to much $50.10 a month unlimited calls and txts to any mobile in Australia . also been calling landlines for the same amount .And I think I also get 5 gig of internet !!

allot of phone company's have these little traps . buyer be ware still applies.I think the first thing you need to work out when shopping for a plan is which major carrier (telstra/optus/vodaphone) coverage gives you the best service for where you are and travel too the most.
Also if you arent a big user, and just have it for convenience maybe look at some of the pay as you go plans, amaysim has one from 15.50 a month I think, but, and it is a big but, you would have to check your usage carefully before taking something like that out.

Agree Jem, there are some great deals for everyone. I've been with optus for about five years now.I find getting a mid to high plan works out cheaper in the long run.Having friends and family living in Sydney, I find unlimited talk time actually works out cheaper than having a landline and a mobile.Also if you arent a big user, and just have it for convenience maybe look at some of the pay as you go plans, amaysim has one from 15.50 a month I think, but, and it is a big but, you would have to check your usage carefully before taking something like that out.

Tougher legislation needs to be introduced which can fine these large telco's and they need to b enforced every time a telco is found to be in breach ...
sooner or later it would improve things ... dodo have given me 3 months rent free over this two hundred dollar charge yet still have not provided me with an itemised account of what these charges were for ..
I am convinced they have charged me these huge amounts every time I used the mobile to call them over the home phone internet not working ...
But I need proof ..... I'll worry about it all next week ... this one has been an exhausting one for me ...

very true . And I think back to Friday not a phone company but trying to give an indain a cheque for his company from the reserve bank !! He refused to accept a cheque from the reverse bank
