jem1964: ok you hqave given yourself 3 options..

Maturbate, well that seems like something you can act on now but... please,... spare us the details

Suicide, no job is worth that, why let the employers or other employees have that much effect on your life.

So, that leaves you with one option left, so AA on the net to the job sites, and see what is available. Or approach other businesses in the field you are working in to see if there is vacancies or any potential in the future.

you done it before you can do it again
My other option is then to turn to god to save me but somehow I don’t think I need saving yet cos I included mesturbatin laugh

I guess the choice is between the $$ and your quality of life AA dunno

My son-in-law is on mega bucks but he has to fly to PNG, Christmas Island, Singapore at the drop of a hat and be on call 24/7.

His is a global company so it's nothing for him to be participating in conference calls at 2am or anytime over the weekend.

He and my daughter are 37 with a young child and his aim is to set them up with everything they need and a private education for their child .. who he rarely sees.

His choice dunno

Hi AA, I didn't like my last job and hung in for about 1,5 years until I got another one. This is better job (more interesting, better career prospects and a bit more money but that definately still can improve), I also started a masters and moved to another place.

These were a lot of changes in my life, not only a new job, but it's going well for me and it was exactly what I needed. It helps that I moved to a nice place with lots of things to do as well.

Get a new job, besides less frustration it might give you a boost in other areas of your life. handshake

Yes the same thing ran through my mind micky thumbs up

You can pick and choose when you're younger and I know I had job offers thrown at me up until 5 or so years ago.

Been increasing my skill set, studying and whatever but a change of job is hard enough to achieve, let alone a change of industry which is what I'm really looking for.

Hi Micky, it changed in Ireland over the last number of years. It wasn't a problem getting jobs up to 3 years ago, but as I said, I was actively looking for 1,5 years before I got the one I have now.

I know in Germany it's nearly impossible to get a new job when you are over 50, but no harm in keeping your eyes open and putting in your CV into some places. I know it can be risky because if you start somewhere new you can get contracts for a limited time only.

Best of luck, maybe something turns up. handshake
