And Epirb has a lot to answer for this Having been one of the ones who have managed to get a spot of picking the subject for the Photo Comp, I do know how hard it can be.....But really Epirb

I am hopefull that someone will finally pick "Atomic Bomb Sites" (I know I will cop it if I do finally manage to win this and nominate that) but just abit of wishful thinking. Okay, in the words so often heard at the Oscars "Here are the nominees....."

Okay, the Federal Government has set the closing time as 6.00pm AEST Saturday 7 September 2013 as the close-off time for voting. How can I argue with that?

There is Legislation regarding non-voting. If you are registered to vote, you must vote.

But here, the Rule is to only vote for the first 5 candidates in the nominated photos.

No, Lookin, don't vote for the first 5 listed.....Make your mark on the first 5 you think are the best candidates.


Ooops, Lookin, number them from 1-5 (meaning 1, 2, 3, 4, 5) in the order you vote.

"We do keep the Electorals Rolls up-to-date and we will find you if you do not vote."

19 AA Clouds Above South Georgia Island......The first of those that actually came up with favourite photo I have seen as against those that are "favourite photo I have taken." I do give him credit for folowing the theme title.

The Blue Danube has to be my most faurorite waltz. Abagail, you have picked up 2 points in my assessment before I even try counting the votes.

Okay, voting for this one is open for a bit longer than the Federal Elctions. You have until Midnight AEST Saturday 7 September to manage to get your name crossed off the register.

The only reason for dragging this out is because I thought someone else was doing it. And then I do have a commitment next Saturday which means I will maybe have the Sunday to relax and think about doing the counting.

In saying that, Spetember will be a cramped month for photos and voting.

But Spring in in the air and more chance of you all getting to those Atomic Bomb Sites for those great photos.
