Like we had a group of neighbours referred to as "Rent-a-Crowd." 5 families, 2-3 kids each .... 20+ birthdays to celebrate, 5 wedding anniversaries, and weekends where we would party not having any other reason to do it. And got invited to other parties because we would always have a good time.
So, Lilee, I don't mind you or anyone (except Lookin) hijacking the Threads, makes me think about a lot of the good times I have had.

Now I have used these excuses for the last 3 months:
"It is raining and can't mow."
"It is too windy and I hate being out in the wind."
"Haven't got fuel for the mower."
"Forgot to take the fuel can when I went to the servo."
"I don't work and not going out just to get fuel for the mower."
I have also used the excuses:
"I will be washing my hair that day, sorry."
"I will have a headache that day, sorry."
Never used the excuse "I did some work and will be a cripple the next day."
This time, it has been a hard decision for me. I have already committed to something else 50kms out of town. I have enjoyed all of the impromto meets I have been to.
If I could get away early enough, I would ............ but know that by the time I get home and then try to find the lovely ladies......and the guys that front up.
