LiLee: Well if you are going to have a concern, that's not a bad thing to have to figure out
Thank you LiLee...smile ... and that really is my only concern. He is a pretty wonderful guy, but I am a rather career driven woman.

Work/life balance... it's interesting , isn't it? I really enjoy my job, and it's challenges. So... for me not to do what I can there would be not being true to who I am.

We shall see how he copes over the next month with me. He arrives here next Wednesday.

I can admit that I haven't done a good job of THAT lately either. I believe the last thing I read that was not work related was Scientific American magazine. I bought it on my way to Ireland.

AA, I really do think you should pay more attention on what is written on the AU Forums.

I did create a thread here recently regarding a writer of the early 20th Century (was a bit more of wanting to discuss/understand stuff with RobP).

There have been many other comments about books or writers over the AU Forum over time. Oops, I did make a comment about Dan Brown.

Sitting back these days and going through a lot of the books that my father (passed away in 1984) had kept and my mother had not disposed of, I am starting to appreciate more than the Mills & Boon books you seem to read/appreciate.

Sorry Mr. Wash there was no intention to offend you. I do read books occasionally but lot less now than I use to, kind of miss it really. My interests in books are also limited unlike Abagail or yourself, probably the reason why I have not replied in the past. Fiction is not my forte , apart from Dan Brown the only other fiction book I have ever read was hitchhikers guide to the universe. If you have ever read books in the style of Awy Rand, Richard Dawkins , Amos Oz …etc I would be more than happy to discuss them with you. handshake

Ayn Rand? I read her work years ago. She has an interesting writing style. Her books are novels though, not based on fact.
