I've heard about a couple of success stories on the Inters where people have relocated for this reason.
But it's not gonna happen overnight of course.
As we know, the internet is a great medium for doing a whole lot of 'getting to know you' and of course sites such as Skype give you the means to see and hear each other.
But there still has to be a 'first date' where you find out if you are a good fit when you are together physically, just like when you live in the same area.
So someone has to be prepared to take the leap and go to the other country to get the ball rolling.
That takes a lot of guts and effort, but it also shows that the person who is doing that is serious in their intent, that it's not just another cyber flirtation, so the person receiving them needs to be encouraging and supportive, loyal and understanding every step of the way.
My thoughts are that both should have their head in the clouds, yes, but also their feet on the ground .. be mature and open-minded, look forward to that meeting with excitement and anticipation, and enjoy it to the max when it happens.
One foot in front of the other, lots of communication and openness and of course hoping for the best, just like the early stages of any relationship.

Yeah, it happens. I met my fiancee right here on CS. She will be moving to Aus early January next year. We will most probably be married in March.
