okay, then I am the one with the hang up -
A meet and greet to meet someone face to face for the first time,sit down, talk and find out if that person is the same person who have been talking too over a period of time - now this particular man, I had a problem with - gawd he was chameleon - first his photo was 10 years out of date - mind you he still was good looking, witty, intelligent, engaging, charismatic, and charming - but when I said "no", he told me I was playing games - and like hell I was - however, I can't put the blame entirely on him, because the truth of the matter was, I wasn't attracted to him...and I didn't feel comfortable or at ease when I had to hold the top of blouse together, and my skirt down... THAT IS NOT A MEET AND GREET!!!

I was referring more to long-term online associations where people have seen each other for real and had time to connect properly.
And I was being a bit cheeky too
Yes the meet and greet thing is full of hazards, had a few dates myself that arose from a few emails and a phone call or two.
For the most part, those people also had out-of-date pics and were not as confident in the flesh as they appeared online.
And a couple were overconfident, just like the guy you mentioned

I am still good friends with a guy I meet over 2 years ago...so some things are aren't all doom and gloom, but the good does shelter/protects you from the nasty side...

Even changed countries twice.
