On new years eve I went to my good friends house for a BBQ and then into town to watch the fireworks. His new lady friend came along too and when we were waiting for the fireworks to begin and she said she found me very attractive right in front of him.
It didn't make my head swell it just made me feel very uncomfortable and it hurt my friend whom I've known for over 25 years... Just my luck, someone who finds me attractive and she is forbidden fruit.uh oh

Ouch.

Had she been drinking confused

Not because I doubt she finds you attractive lol, but the fact that she said so.

Doesn't change anything though and not much you can do about it, it's an issue for her and her man to sort out sigh

Yes tricky situation. sigh

Other questions you might ask yourself Gold is....

Do you find her equally attractive? and if so,

Are you willing to lose your mate if you pursue her?

cause that's one thing that's for certain. sad flower

Yes she had been drinking, but wasn't sloshed, maybe she was trying to make him jealous so he gets really serious with her or something?

She's intelligent and good looking, if I had met her in a different situation I would have gone for it, but I've been burnt before and know how it feels for a friend to hit on your woman.uh oh

Don't ever give him cause to think something might be going on.

Plus, if she can say that in front of him while it's a fairly new relationship, would she really be worth pursuing?

All that I wanted was to have a swim because it was stinking hot, he even suggested we go over there when he got back, anayway nothing happened between us so I don't feel bad for that. But he left her place and smoked up his v8 in front of all the neigbours, silly move..conversing

The fact you knew your friend felt bad, and you felt bad for him, when she said you were good looking the night before should have been enough to tell you not to be alone with her......especially scantily clad in a pool.

Can't see the relationship lasting though as he obviously doesn't trust her already.
Some women are born flirts, some guys can cope with it, some can't.
