misbhavn: WOW! Maybe your friend should re-evaluate her as his lady friend. It wasn't your fault and hopefully your friend realizes that. You didn't act on her flirtatious behavior and that was you being loyal to your friend. Sounds to me like she was hinting for a three some in my opinion. She's a bit too forward and didn't take in to consideration your friends feelings. Stay clear of her if you can.
Maybe she was hinting at something like that but she can't be that thoughtless, god knows? He must have realised by now there was nothing going on at all, will ring him in a few days once the dust has settled.

gold71: On new years eve I went to my good friends house for a BBQ and then into town to watch the fireworks. His new lady friend came along too and when we were waiting for the fireworks to begin and she said she found me very attractive right in front of him.
It didn't make my head swell it just made me feel very uncomfortable and it hurt my friend whom I've known for over 25 years... Just my luck, someone who finds me attractive and she is forbidden fruit.

Way back in 2008 during the Cooma 60th Anniversary of land Rovers, I was dancing with a girl from SA I had met at a number of Land Rover events. She was living/co-habitating/engaged with a guy I have known for many years. He was a social misfit as regards to dancing while I am only inept. We were having fun.

Over the years we had known each other, we had sat and enjoyed a few wines and smokes together. And had passed her some books to help her with her Uni studis. Her intended was not a drinker or smoker (hated both) so we shared some things.

While dancing (and after a few drinks) she said "If I wasn't with .... I could really go for you." I back-pedalled so fast I think I cleared the whole dance floor.

Having had a so-called "friend" do that to me, I would never do that to anyone, married or just partnering.

Bit of learning I had from a teacher on how to spell was "If you fri before end it will be the end of him."
