On reading forum posts (mostly Inters), it's occurred to me that many men view women as some kind of unfathomable race of their own laugh

As a collective I mean, but I wonder do most women look at men in the same way confused

Or do we regard them more as individuals conversing

It all depends Serene - as the collective, they are just "men", but the ones that I interact with, well, they have names and feelings and I treat them with consideration and respect... wine

I was brought up to be an individual, so I guess I view everyone as their own person.

Cant stand generalisations whether it be on gender, race, creed, there is potential in each one of us to have a different idea of things or way of doing things.

I know people tend to think sheep are all the same.... until you have to work closely with them. You soon learn to suss out the leaders, the troublemakers and the ones that will just follow the crowd. If you can do this handling the sheep becomes a lot easier, I know I used to be able to get our flock through the footbath 3 times by myself but add Dad to the mix and... there was always trouble!laugh

wave Keep in mind we are the same Species, just different genders.
Then we are selective especially after we have achieved wisdom(sic).
To give an example, I might be looking for a Female double jointed
Flight attendant with no gag reflex. The profiles I have read here
suggests this would be raresad flower

jem1964: well I dunno, I must have balls then...

I was a sawmiller for 5 years, me working the cutting head, loading logs and the Ex (fella) taking off timber. I used to do that as well. I could out make pallets to the ex as well. Used to manually load them on the truck too. I used to do all the invoicing etc as well but refused to to BAS as it was the business he wanted to start so I reckoned he could do his own tax. He always tried to convince me but never succeeded!
Also in the job started with the company I am working now they have always said I work harder than any man....

as with any gender it depends on the physical attributes of the person AND the mental agility and ability of the person. If they dont want to work they wont. If they want to find an excuse they will.
pardon me while I wander off to scratch the proverbials....

thumbs up Here's to you girl. A woman of substance.

you are not on your own , woman I met twenty years ago was left with three early teens and a large mortgage on a lifestyle block . She started shearing, couple of years or so was at 300 a day . Fencing on her own block . Chainsaws and all the other gear on a farm . She with her brother now lease two farms over 3000 acres ,plus own their own blocks as well . Singled minded pursuit of what she wanted and to hell with the nay sayers . She was pretty tidy as well .
