Yes, as predicted I have checked in to see what everyone's been saying about me.
Amazed to see it's gone to 8 pages already.
I've spent the last couple of days investigating "MOOC's" as I mentioned before.
Stands for "Massive Online Open Courses" and means you can take an online free course to learn just about anything you want from basic arithmetic to full degree courses. The word massive refers to the fact that many people are taking the course at once, anywhere from a few hundred to 100's of thousands. Obviously the course providers can't tutor and monitor that many students so they use online quizzes and tests, as well as peer evaluation. This means you assess someone else's essay or test, while another random person does yours. There are also online discussion forums and chat rooms. So looks like I can't avoid bloody forums!
I enrolled in a basic climate change course as the earlier thread on that topic had got me interested.
So, yeah I do appreciate the online friends I have here, but I just need a change in direction.
PS. found out that you can hide your profile (minimum 24 hours) and then your photo disappears and no one can message you.

Talking to someone who has an opinion but is never condescending or rude is rare on the Forums,so I will miss your posts.
I come and go to suit my purpose and take breaks too,as, of late, the threads leave a lot to be desired ,as do some of the posters.
