What have you seen that should have a wider appeal?

Yeah, I have just watched "Rush" which was supposedly more about Niki Lauder but the reviews missed so much more about the film.

Rush was good, I cried a little bit at the end.

Saving Mr Banks.....Won't be everyone's cup of tea but I found it hugely enjoyable. It's the story of P L Travers who wrote Mary Poppins, and how Walt Disney brought the book to life.
Emma Thompson is great as always.

Looking forward to Robocop coming out to see if it lives up to the original.

He's got to be late 60's early 70's. Completely gorgeous in his day though.

How strange that he's cropped up in two conversations tonight....I was talking to a dutch guy earlier on a different site and we were trying to think of famous dutch men.
Who says I don't know how to have fun.

I recommend The Book Thief. It's not a feel good movie as it about a little girl adopted out to a poor German family in the midst of WW2. But very moving and gives a different perspective than the one we usually get about Germany people at that time. Some laughs, but take your tissues with you as well. thumbs up

Probably Peter O'Toole at/near his best. Although I did find "Good Morning, Mr Chips" a better movie. Got beaten to the Oscar by John Watne that year for .......... yeah, forgetable movie.
